The Soulville (Chesterfield)
Featuring it's own exclusive use Cocktail Lounge and bar, small stage and dancefloor area.
The Loft is the perfect self contained party venue.
It is the ideal choice for Wedding receptions, birthday, anniversary, engagement or retirement parties or even just that all important family get together.
The Loft can also be hired exclusively as an event space. Singers, comedians, open mike nights, karaoke. If you have an event - we have the space!
The Loft shares the fantastic music that always plays downstairs, expect to hear the best in Classic
60's, 70's & 80's Soul, Tamla Motown, a little Soulful Reggae and occasionally a cheeky nod to the
early 80's Two Tone era.
The music volume is separately controlled so can be as loud or as quiet as preferred and can even be
switched off so that long awaited "Best Man" speech can be enjoyed to the fullest!
The Stage, overlooking the dance floor is also the perfect position for a DJ set up, should you wish to
cater to your own musical tastes.
"The Late Lounge" is the exclusive use Cocktail & Lounge Bar in
The Loft @ Soulville.
Six cocktails feature on the menu on any given day and these can be chosen
by you from our extensive list of available cocktails, (click here for the full list)
we can then produce bespoke table menus, this allows us to change the names
(but not the ingredients) of any cocktails chosen.... so why not treat yourself to a
"Father of the Bride", a "Long Engagement" or maybe a "Key to the Door" or a
"Life Begins at 40".... the choice is endless, and completely yours!
What's the point of a gorgeous function room, freshly prepared cocktails and somewhere to dance the night away without quality, fresh, home cooked food to enjoy? ...that's where The Soulville aspect of The Loft comes to the fore!
Our fantastic value Steakhouse "Logo" menu is always available with 3 courses from just £18.95 (subject to service times) or why not take the stress out of your event and enjoy one of our exclusive "set-price" 2/3 course sit down menus or for something more casual, one of our great value Hot Buffet menus.
Cold finger buffets can also be prepared for midweek bookings or the evening of all day Saturday bookings.
THE LOFT PRICE PACKAGES
BRONZE PACKAGE – FROM £80
Hire just “The Loft” with its stage and dancefloor but without “The Late Lounge” cocktail bar and with no obligation to eat.
You are of course more than welcome to order food if you wish, whether that is
during a lunchtime business meeting or an as part of an evening party booking.
You may opt to supply your own cold buffet, if so, we can of course “Soulville” that up for you with additional hot or cold dishes
from the downstairs kitchen (eg. chunky chips, wings, ribs, desserts or anything else that we might have on our selection of menus)
We will however, require you to purchase all liquid refreshments, whether soft or alcoholic,
from the fully stocked and very competitively priced bar downstairs.
We can also cater for mineral water, tea, coffee and biscuits for business meetings.
Bespoke drinks packages can be arranged upon request.
Music for the duration of your event is supplied by us and shared with the restaurant downstairs.
Classic 60’s & 70’s Soul & Motown, Soulful Reggae and sometimes the occasional cheeky 80’s tune or Two Tone banger!
You are more than welcome to supply your own music, be that a live entertainer or your own DJ set-up.
The small stage overlooking the dancefloor (with electrical sockets) is the perfect location for this.
“The Late Lounge” cocktail bar with a small but varied menu of 6 classic cocktails and dedicated bartender
can be added to any BRONZE package booking for just £40.00 for anything up to 3 HOURS.
Late bar available till midnight Sunday to Thursday and 1am Friday & Saturday.
BRONZE package hire is available any weekday or weekend lunchtime (except Tuesday)
or Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings for parties of any number up to 45 and Friday evenings for parties of 30 - 45.
The perfect option for last minute get-togethers, parties on a tighter budget, business meetings, corporate events or as a
ready-made venue for you to host and promote your own private event… singers, magicians, comedy nights,
mediums, open mike, quiz nights, the options are endless, but, basically, if you have an event – we’ve got the space.
SILVER PACKAGE – FREE TO HIRE
Choose to eat from either The Steakhouse Menu, Set-Price Menu A or Hot Buffet Menu A

Full table service including drinks comes as standard and all of our food is freshly
prepared in house to our own tried and trusted Soulville recipes.

The ultimate wedding day package for parties of up to 40.
“The Loft” including the stage and dance floor with its retro disco lighting is yours exclusively any time from 12pm
although we can open and serve drinks from 11am upon request.
Drinks upon arrival, choose Prosecco, Asti, Bucks Fizz or a selection of all three.
A freshly cooked 3-Course sit-down meal from our Wedding exclusive “Platinum Menu” this is our absolute
top of the range selection of Chef’s specials and full table service on all food and drinks comes as standard.

During the afternoon transition period, and to allow us to clear up and layout “The Loft” to your own personal
preference for the evening’s entertainment, an exclusive use lounge area downstairs will be provided,
this can be set up outside, weather permitting, if you would prefer.
The fully stocked and very competitively priced downstairs bar will be open all day.
“The Late Lounge” cocktail bar including your own dedicated bartender will be yours exclusively for the duration of the evening.
A choice of any 6 cocktails can be chosen from our extensive list of 30 cocktails, we will then produce a bespoke menu for the tables,
this allows you to choose to rename one or if you prefer, all of the cocktails to whatever you would like (within reason!)

During the evening a comprehensive cold finger buffet including fresh sandwiches, pastries, salads & desserts

Evening music can again be provided by us, shared from the restaurant downstairs, in the evenings we play a great mix of
classic 60’s & 70’s Soul & Motown, Soulful Reggae and sometimes the occasional cheeky 80’s tune or Two Tone banger!
You can of course book your own entertainment for the night, the small stage overlooking the dancefloor (with electrical sockets)
is the perfect location for a singer or DJ.

The PLATINUM package is available seven days a week for a set price.
a. Sunday to Thursday for 20 dinner and evening guests £1200.00
b. Sunday to Friday for 20 dinner guests and 40 evening guests £1500.00
c. Sunday to Friday for 40 dinner and evening guests £2400.00
d. Saturday for 20 dinner guests and 40 evening guests £2000.00
e. Saturday for 40 dinner and evening guests £3000.00
This is the basic framework for our PLATINUM package, but from the second you make your initial enquiry
with us we are there to help to tailor your booking to exactly what you want.
We know we are not a Country House Hotel, but the unique character of “The Loft”, the quality of our food and a “Soulville”
attention to detail means that we can make your wedding day everything that you imagined it would be, but at a fraction of the cost.
