After 20 years we like to think we are renown in Nottingham for the quality of our freshly prepared food coupled with a level of service that is as friendly as it is professional, think of it as full table service with all the trimmings!
But, did you know that we also have a completely separate bar area, with music supplied from chunky black vinyl, on an original 1964 Wurlitzer jukebox, stacked full of classic Soul & Motown and always set to free-play?
You can join us any time, just for a drink from our extensive range of draft and bottled beers and ciders, extensive wines and spirits, soft drinks and freshly prepared cocktails.
You don't have to eat, but, if those aromas emanating from the kitchen are just too much to resist, we have a fantastic Bar Menu, homecooked Soulville favourites, cooked fresh when you order, paid for at the bar and delivered to your bar table when ready.

You can't call yourself "The Soulville" and not embrace the timeless charm of classic Soul & Motown.
Our food has a definite American influence, think Cajun Tuna, Babyback ribs, Buffalo chicken wings, Ribeye steak, Creole chicken etc. but our music style is a little more clear cut! ... Detroit, Memphis, Georgia, Philadelphia ... they all have a massive input in what you hear at The Soulville, but, it's not what you play, it's how you play it!
Chunky black vinyl, through a valve amp, on an original American 1964 Wurlitzer jukebox. Those of you of a certain age will know what we mean when we say "that unmistakable crackle & hiss", for anyone who doesn't, you really don't know what you are missing. We might be living in a digital age, but, when it comes to great music, not only is vinyl where it really all began, it is still the way forward! ... and just to make things even better, our jukebox is permanently set to free-play, just choose your favourite tune or choose them all, it will never cost you a penny.
You decide what you want to eat, you decide what you want to drink and you decide what you want to listen to. The perfect tailored experience!
It's not just about listening to the music or dancing underneath the disco ball, it's so much more than that.
Walk around The Soulville and you will find walls dedicated to James, Stevie, The Supremes, Ray, The Temptations, Otis, Marvin and The Four Tops, but in between there are literally hundreds of photos, billboard posters, song sheets and countless other memorabilia.
If you've got a favourite soul singer or group we practically guarantee that they will be up there somewhere, and maybe even on the jukebox ... there's only one way to find out.

The Sunday Soul Sessions will certainly be making a welcome return, with open decks to give you a chance to see how it feels to fill a dancefloor (hopefully!) and special food & drinks offers on the day.
